State and Local Tax Senior Associate or Supervisor - Income & Franchise Tax

Weaver's State and Local Tax team is looking for Income & Franchise Tax Senior Associates or Supervisors to join their growing practice. This role focuses on tax compliance and consulting services related to state and local taxes, including income and franchise tax.

• Prepare and review income and franchise tax returns for various entities and affiliates.
• Conduct complex income and franchise tax audits.
• Develop and execute complex tax research projects for clients across diverse industries.
• Manage multiple concurrent assignments of varying size and complexity.
• Identify complex tax issues and provide analysis and recommendations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Team orientation and strong interpersonal skills.
• CPA candidate or pursuing the CMI.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in public accounting or industry.
• Experience preparing income and franchise tax audit and refund schedules, and preparing multi‑state income tax returns including Texas franchise tax returns.

• Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Strong project management skills.
• CPA or CMI credential.
