Our client is seeking a Property Accountant for a role supporting financial reporting and accounting across a portfolio of real estate assets. This position offers strong exposure to property‑level operations and financial decision‑making.
LocationTexas – Austin or Houston (relocation assistance available)
Key Responsibilities- Prepare financial statements, budgets, and variance analysis
- Maintain general ledger, journal entries, and supporting documentation
- Perform account and bank reconciliations
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and operating plans
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and industry standards
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or other relevant fields of study; CPA (or pursuing) is strongly preferred
- Experience in property or real estate accounting
- Both Microsoft Excel and accounting systems proficiency is required
- Detail‑oriented with strong analytical skills
