Accounting INTERN - Fall ; Bauer PPA

The Fall Intern has an opportunity to assist in various projects while learning about many facets of the accounting profession. Spending approximately 12 weeks with the tax teams, the Fall Intern will gain experience under several management styles and working with diverse teams. The Fall Intern will be assigned several tasks and duties including

• Prepare smaller tax returns
• Prepare supporting work papers for large tax returns
• Analyze broker statements
• Perform research projects
• Post General Ledgers
• Update Quick Books files
• Accounting and bookkeeping support
• Other projects and tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

• Active student in the University of Houston - Bauer College of Business PPA program.
• Completion of junior year
• GPA of 3.3 or better
