Billing Clerk

TNT is looking to add an experienced full‑time Billing Clerk to our growing Branch. The position requires that applicants meet all listed qualifications to be considered.

• Issue invoices to customers through email or various invoice submission portals.
• Update customer files with issued invoices.
• Create reports and present them to managers.
• Develop, review, and submit cost reports in a timely manner.
• Review the accuracy of invoices prior to submission by performing various checks.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies.
• Interpret contract language for verification of labor, material, and equipment rates for various customers.
• Provide management with daily status of completed functions.
• Communicate effectively within the company to resolve client inquiries.
• Perform other duties as the supervisor may deem necessary from time to time.
• Submit all online invoices daily.

• High School Diploma and/or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of proven billing experience.
• Minimum of one year of billing experience in refineries or construction industries.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
• Pass a drug screen and background check.
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications:
  Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work productively and effectively in a team setting.
• Focused on process improvement and achieving team and company goals.
• Must be a self‑starter.
• Ability to handle large volumes of work.
• Ability to work onsite at refineries for large turnarounds, if needed.
• Must be able to work under little or no supervision and still achieve desired results.
• Advanced Accounting degree preferred.
• Understanding of law and legal procedures relating to accounting.
