Job Description
The Corporate Staff Accountant plays a key role within the accounting team, providing accurate financial reporting and analysis. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this position supports the organization through month-end close activities, account reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements. The role also involves handling percentage of completion accounting and contributing to various regular and ad hoc financial projects.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze regular monthly close cycle and quarterly financial reports
- Perform account reconciliations and maintain the general ledger
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial data for accounting and auditing purposes
- Support percentage of completion accounting and related project tracking
- Assist with ad hoc financial projects and reporting requests
- Collaborate with a medium-sized team of accountants to meet deadlines
- Communicate effectively with the Accounting Manager and the Controller on project status and issues
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting
- 2-4 years of Corporate Accounting experience
