Accounting Assistant
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join their growing team on a temp-to-hire basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with accounting experience who enjoys working in a collaborative office environment and is looking for long-term career growth.
Key Responsibilities of the Accounting Assistant:- Process and distribute daily mail
- Prepare and process daily bank deposits
- Assist with bank reconciliations
- Support Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial information
- Maintain records, assist with scheduling, and provide administrative support to the accounting team
- Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned
- At least 1 year of accounting experience
- Minimum 1 year of Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent time management and attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Experience with and/or Paycom
- Quick Books experience
- Medical or healthcare office experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field is a plus, but not required
