Our Manufacturing client is seeking a Senior Accountant to work in their Houston TX office. Our client looking to fill this role as soon as possible. We’re looking for a candidate with 5 plus years of accounting experience. Experience in public accounting is a huge plus!
Responsibilities- Responsible for the full–cycle general ledger accounting
- Ensure consolidation is performed accurately on a monthly basis.
- Prepare monthly internal financial reports for upper management review
- Perform ad-hoc analyses as assigned.
- Prepare PL manufacturing statement and balance sheet accounts
- Prepare schedules for quarterly review and year-end audit processes with outside audit firm(s).
- Prepare AFEs and maintain fixed asset schedules
- Analyze inventory changes
- Process AR/AP intercompany transactions
- B.S. Degree in Accounting or equivalent with five plus years of progressive accounting experience
- CPA and/or MBA preferred.
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Knowledge of general and cost accounting and financial statement preparation is required.
- SAP and SAP BPC experience
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, including Excel (required).
