Complex Financial Reporting and Transaction Advisory Senior Consultant​/Manager

Position Summary

Opportune is seeking a Senior Consultant or Manager for their Complex Financial Reporting and Transaction Advisory practices. The consultant will have a focus on performing and leading various accounting/finance projects: technical accounting; complex financial and SEC reporting issues for private and public companies; IPO readiness and execution; due diligence; and financial analytics. Our professionals often have the opportunity to participate in business transformation, restructuring, and valuation projects.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication (verbal and written) & problem‑solving skills to effectively interact with clients and project teams
• Highly motivated individual with a goal‑oriented personality
• Excellent research and analytical skills
• History of achievement in school and work
• Strong desire for client service
• Audit or consulting experience preferred

• CPA eligible or strong desire to become a CPA
• Solid working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite with advanced Excel capabilities
• Knowledge and use of generative AI models (e.g., Claude) and related plug‑ins to Excel are a plus
