General Ledger Accountant

Accountant duties include but are not limited to:

• Propose, prepare, and input general journal entries in the accounting system.
• Prepare bank account reconciliations and monthly balance sheet account reconciliations for assigned accounts.
• Maintain prepaid expenses amortization schedules.
• Maintain fixed assets depreciation and amortization schedules and lease schedules.
• Manage SAP Concur workflow.
• Prepare quarterly financial statements and the quarterly consolidated reporting packages for financial reporting.
• Provide accounting support for LNG operations and perform and coordinate ETRM invoice settlements.
• Assist the monthly accounting and GL closing process for the operating legal entities on activities such as commodity inventory bookings, monitoring of sales, purchase and transportation bookings, and associated tie‑outs.

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in general accounting, including financials, consolidations, settlements, and AP & AR.
• Experience in the natural gas industry is required.
• Strong MS Office package skills, particularly MS Excel.
• Exceptional organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt to change within a dynamic business environment.
