We're looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Analyst who enjoys solving problems, analyzing data, and improving financial processes. In this role, you'll help maintain accurate inventory records, analyze costs, support month‑end close activities, and partner with operations to ensure inventory accuracy across the business.

- Coordinate and oversee physical inventory cycle counts.
- Investigate inventory variances and resolve discrepancies.
- Update and reconcile internal costs for repackaged products.
- Review standard and actual costs for accuracy.
- Validate cost of goods sold (COGS) during the month‑end close process.
- Partner with the lubricant management team to identify and dispose of obsolete inventory.
- Maintain accurate records related to physical inventories.
- Analyze inventory and operational processes to identify improvement opportunities.
- Prepare inventory reports, variance analyses, and breakeven reporting.
- Assist branch locations with inventory balancing and reconciliation.
- Support annual audits and provide documentation as needed.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, along with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Advanced mathematical aptitude.
- Self‑motivated, dependable, adaptable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- Internal audit experience preferred.
