Oil & Gas Senior Accountant

A growing, well-established midstream energy company is adding a Senior Accountant to its corporate accounting team due to continued business growth and acquisitions.

• Prepare monthly billing and revenue accounting activities
• Record revenue during the monthly close process
• Perform revenue analysis, variance analysis, and financial reporting
• Analyze contracts and revenue transactions
• Support internal and external audits
• Partner with Commercial, Tax, Regulatory, and Corporate Development team
• Assist with reporting enhancements and system improvement initiatives
• Participate in special projects and process improvement efforts

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3-5+ years of accounting experience
• ASC 606 / Revenue Accounting Experience
• Energy, natural gas, or pipeline industry experience strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Highly organized with strong attention to details
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
