** Accounting Supervisor (Property Accounting)**, you will lead a team of accounting professionals while driving operational efficiency, strengthening financial controls, and delivering high-quality financial reporting. This role partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the accurate accumulation, recording, and analysis of financial transactions, with a strong emphasis on
** property accounting and capital asset management**.You will play a key role in supporting strategic initiatives, improving processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Lead, develop, and coach a team of accounting professionals, including workforce planning and career development initiatives
* Ensure team accountability for delivering work in accordance with company policies, procedures, and internal control requirements
* Oversee the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records and accounting transactions
* Partner with internal stakeholders to establish and maintain accounting policies and procedures in compliance with FERC and
** GAAP accounting standards
*** Support the preparation, analysis, and delivery of financial reporting and insights to leadership
* Lead and execute complex accounting projects and process improvement initiatives
* Communicate financial results, analyses, and recommendations to senior leadership
** Property Accounting & Capital Management Focus
*** Oversee and support
** property accounting activities**, including asset capitalization, depreciation, and asset retirement obligations
* Ensure accurate accounting for
** fixed assets and property transactions**, including acquisitions, additions, transfers, retirements, and disposals
* Support
** capital project accounting
** and related financial reporting
* Partner with business leaders on
** divestitures, asset impairments, and valuation assessments**, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards
* Drive improvements to processes, controls, and systems supporting property accounting and capital management
* Assist in developing and implementing policies and procedures related to fixed assets and capital expenditures
** Qualifications
* **
* Required:

*** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
* Minimum of
** 6 years of progressive accounting experience**, including exposure to fixed assets or property accounting
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and internal controls
** Preferred:
*** Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
* Experience with
** property accounting, financial reporting, capital project accounting, or asset management environments
*** Prior experience leading or supervising a team
** Skills & Competencies
*** Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced environment
* Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities
* Effective communication skills with the ability to present complex financial data clearly
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (particularly Excel), Oracle, and other financial systems#LI-AB1
