Senior Accountant
Salary: $85,000– $95,000

Senior Accountant Key Responsibilities
- Perform month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Research and investigate accounting variances while identifying opportunities to improve financial accuracy and reporting processes.
- Support internal and external audits by preparing audit schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor requests.
- Assist with maintaining strong internal controls and ensuring compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to support operational initiatives, financial reporting, and special projects.
- Contribute to process improvements and help streamline accounting procedures as the organization continues to grow.
- Serve as a resource within the accounting department by providing support on complex accounting issues and assisting with system enhancements as needed.
Senior Accountant Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience with strong month-end close responsibilities.
- Solid understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting.
- CPA or actively pursuing CPA preferred.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience working within an ERP system preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
