Giles Financial Consulting LLC is seeking a detail‑oriented and growth‑minded Junior Accountant to support our expanding portfolio of small business and fractional CFO clients.

This is NOT a “just enter transactions” bookkeeping role. We are looking for someone who understands that accounting tells a story — and that clean financials drive business decisions.

The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, comfortable with technology, and willing to learn across multiple industries including retail, construction, professional services, and e‑commerce.

• Categorize and reconcile bank and credit card transactions
• Assist with monthly close processes
• Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation
• Review invoices, receipts, and vendor payments for accuracy
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable management
• Match invoices to payments and supporting documentation
• Assist with cleanup projects and reconciliations
• Support preparation of Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet reports
• Maintain accuracy across client financial records

• Assist with document collection from clients
• Maintain internal workflow tracking systems
• Communicate professionally with clients when needed
• Support special projects and operational tasks

• Experience with Quick Books Online
• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to handle confidential financial information
• Comfortable working independently

• Experience with Excel / Google Sheets
• Understanding of payroll basics
• Experience working with small businesses
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance
• Experience in a consulting or multi‑client environment
