Accountant Senior

As our Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for general ledger accounting and reporting activities for Renewables or Flexible generation entities.

• Perform monthly and annual closing processes for assigned entities, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and management reporting
• Perform accounting and reporting tasks and meet reporting requirements for Renewables group. Renewables activities include preparing monthly operating reports and cash management
• Develop processes, drive continuous improvement, coordinate requirements upstream and downstream in the organization
• Interface with external auditors and preparation of financial schedules and required requests
• Assist Performance Control Analyst in the preparation of annual budget and annual long‑term forecast
• Perform ad‑hoc projects as needed, including those which may involve complex or advanced accounting concepts
• Carries out other duties as assigned

• A minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• A minimum of 5 years relevant accounting industry experience
• This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
• Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
• Ability to meet highest attendance requirements
• Work in time sensitive environment; maybe outside of usual US business hours
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
• Knowledge of tax equity structures
• Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy

Salary Range: $90,405 – $120,540 USD annually. This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
