We are seeking an experienced Management Company Director to join our Alternative Investment Management team. The successful candidate will oversee and manage all accounting and financial reporting activities for our Management Company entities. This role requires strong attention to detail, outstanding analytical skills, client‑servicing experience, and a background in the alternative investment industry.
What you’ll do- Manage accounting and financial reporting for Management Company entities, including financial statements, management accounts, and regulatory reporting.
- Oversee fiscal operations such as the chart of accounts, accounts payable/receivable, and expense allocations including travel and entertainment.
- Lead the monthly close cycle, ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, and collaborate with client finance teams.
- Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and other stakeholders while reconciling cash flows, preparing ad‑hoc reports, and supporting new client onboarding.
- Contribute to developing financial controls, streamlining processes, and working cross‑functionally to deliver accurate and timely reporting.
- Competitive salary ($140,000–$180,000, dependent on experience and location).

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA, ACA, or ACCA preferred.
- Ten or more years of accounting and financial reporting experience within the alternative investment industry.
- Strong knowledge of U.S.GAAP and fiscal regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel), Quick Books, and ERP systems such as Sage or Net Suite.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Proven leadership experience managing accounting teams across multiple entities and locations.
