Tax Associate

Tarvos Talent is partnering with a growing industrial supplier supporting infrastructure projects across North America. We re looking for a Tax Associate to own tax compliance, reporting, audits, and process improvement in a highly visible role reporting directly to the CFO. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional looking to step into a visible role with broad exposure, process improvement opportunities, and long-term growth potential.

What you ll be doing:

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax filings
• Manage sales & use, property, income, and transaction tax compliance
• Coordinate tax audits and respond to taxing authorities
• Maintain tax reconciliations, exemption certificates, and business registrations
• Research tax legislation, identify tax savings opportunities, and improve tax processes
• Partner with Finance, HR, and external tax advisors on compliance initiatives

What we re looking for:

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3+ years of progressive tax experience
• Experience with income, sales & use, property, and transaction taxes
• ERP experience (beyond Quick Books);
  Avalara experience is a plus
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
