Senior Accountant – Plant Operations (Houston Area)

We’re partnering with a growing petrochemical manufacturer to find a Senior Accountant to own plant accounting for their production operations. This is a hands-on role at the center of the business — you'll partner with Operations, Supply Chain, and FP&A, and become the SME on cost of production for the plant.

What you'll do

• Lead month-end close: inventory valuations, standard and actual costing, and variance analysis
• Deliver monthly KPI and variance reporting that drives decisions for plant leadership
• Partner across the business on budgeting, annual standard cost updates in SAP, and cost-savings initiatives

What you bring

• Bachelor's in Accounting, 7+ years of experience, including 4+ in manufacturing/cost accounting
• Strong command of cost accounting, inventory valuation, and internal controls; SAP and Excel proficiency
• Petrochemical or polymers experience required; CPA/CMA a plus
