the accounts payable clerk is responsible for managing the complete accounts payable cycle, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a high-volume environment. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational skills.
duties & responsibilities- process invoices accurately and efficiently while adhering to company policies and procedures
- manage the entire accounts payable cycle, including invoice coding and approvals
- conduct regular check runs to ensure timely payments to vendors
- handle high volumes of invoice processing with precision and attention to detail
- utilize realpage financial suite to maintain accurate financial records and streamline workflows
- collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure proper documentation
- monitor accounts payable aging reports and address overdue payments promptly
- reconcile vendor statements and address any outstanding issuesmaintain organized records for audits and compliance purposes
- support the finance team with additional tasks as needed

salary range 58, annually
qualifications education:- high school diploma
- bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in accounting (preferred)
- minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience.
- ap processing & ms office experience- excel in particular
- high proficiency level with computer functions, financial database management reporting systems, accounts receivable, accounts payable and microsoft office.
- attention to detail in written reports and financial documents.
- experience with a real estate management and development company is valued
- outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills coupled with excellent writing ability, oral communication and presentation skills.
- strong time-management skills with an ability to prioritize wisely, work independently, customize work products and adapt to changing demands.
- strategic thought process with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
- sound judgment and proficiency in problem solving with diplomacy.
