Position: Tax Accountant - Flex Schedule (Part-Time)
Are you an experienced Tax Accountant who wants to stay in public accounting without committing to a traditional full-time schedule. A flex schedule can include reduced hours for the work week, summers off or arranging your schedule around other priorities. Mohle Adams is looking for a Part-Time Tax Accountant (up to 29 hours per week) with capability to work a flex schedule.

A Tax Professional reports directly to a Tax Manager and has varied duties and assignments.

Responsibilities include:

Prepare complex tax returns, such as partnership returns with special allocations, trust and estate returns, or multi-state returns. Review staff work and provide feedback Collaborate with colleagues, managers, and partners Communicate with the client in writing or on the telephone Identify issues and planning opportunities during tax return preparation Research complex federal or state tax issues as needed Seek on-going skill development and training Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Education/

Experience:

• Bachelor degree in Accounting
• CPA eligible (CPA preferred)
• 4 - 5+ years of tax compliance experience in public accounting with progressively more complex returns Success Factors at Mohle Adams:
