Accounting & Administrative Coordinator (#35040

An international corporation in the Houston, TX area is currently seeking a capable Accounting & Administrative Coordinator with recent account reconciliations' experience to join their organization. This is a full-time job, M-F (9:00 AM to 6:00 PM), 'direct-hire' with full benefits opportunity and hybrid work schedule (3 days in the office, 2 days working remotely).

• Responsible for day-to-day accounting, financial reporting, and compliance activities for the organization.
• Ensure all Journals are closely reviewed
• Manage the Closing process, Monthly, Quarterly, and Year End
• Monitor Financial Systems and Make Financial Statements
• Provide Financial Analysis and Consultation to Executives regarding important decisions
• Collaborate with business and internal control departments to accurately produce financial reports
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting , Finance or related field is preferred (Associate's level required)
• 2+ years of experience in accounting (recent experience in reconciliations is a plus)
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS, SUMIF, etc.)
• 2+ years of AP/ AR experience
• Month-End experience
• Understanding of GAAP
• Familiar with income statement and P&L
