Accounting Clerk

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join a growing team in North Houston
. This position will support day-to-day accounting operations with a primary focus on accounts receivable, cash applications, collections, and vendor reconciliations
.

• Enter and post daily cash deposits.
• Handle AR collections via phone and email.
• Send customer statements and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Research and resolve customer account discrepancies.
• Scan, save, and distribute customer invoices.
• Reconcile vendor payables and verify invoice numbers and amounts.
• Maintain accurate customer and vendor information within the accounting system.
• Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, operations, and management.
• Assist with accounting process improvements as needed.

• 3+ years of accounting experience
  .
• Experience with AR, collections, cash applications, and reconciliations preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office and general computer skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and time-management abilities.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working as part of a team.
