Harmer has been engaged by our client to identify a Division Controller for a growing global manufacturing organization. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys partnering with operations, driving process improvements, and leading a high-performing team in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities Include:
- Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process while ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting.
- Oversee manufacturing accounting, including standard costing, inventory valuation, fixed assets, and cost of goods sold.
- Manage consolidated financial reporting, account reconciliations, and compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
- Partner with operations to analyze financial performance, support budgeting and forecasting, and provide actionable business insights.
- Lead cost center reporting, variance analysis, and management reporting for divisional leadership.
- Coordinate external audits, tax compliance activities, and corporate reporting requirements.
- Manage cash forecasting and support treasury and banking activities.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, strengthen controls, and increase automation.
- Develop, mentor, and lead an accounting team while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Approximately 10+ years of progressive accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong background in both financial accounting and standard cost accounting.
- Experience leading month-end close and preparing financial reporting in a manufacturing business.
- Experience with SAP or Oracle ERP systems preferred.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, inventory accounting, fixed assets, and manufacturing finance.
- Proven leadership experience managing accounting teams and partnering across business functions.
