Tax Accountant

Established Houston CPA firm in NW Houston has an immediate need for a Tax Accountant. This lovely firm is well established, regional and has an excellent and supportive client base. The firm has a hybrid work schedule and a lovely office in NW Houston. This firm WILL consider training someone who has done accounting or audit work and wants to learn tax.

In fact, they are open to a candidate who seriously wants to learn tax but hasnt had the chance to develop that skill just yet in their current firm.

The firm is concerned with total development, not just churning out returns.

• Work extensively with clients - even at a staff level
• Perform tax planning/research
• Respond to IRS and state tax notices

• Bachelors degree in Accounting is required
• 1+ to 10 years public accounting experience with another mid sized or boutique CPA firm is required
• CPA (or candidate) preferred
• Good oral and written communication skills
