NOTE: THIS POSITION WILL BE BASED FULL-TIME IN OUR HOUSTON, TX OFFICE LOCATED AT 990 TOWN & COUNTRY BLVD.
POSITION SUMMARY:The Senior Accountant, Operations Accounting reports to the Manager, Operations Accounting. This role requires in-depth knowledge of US GAAP, specifically for cost accounting and revenue (ASC 606), and experience in a SOX environment. Regular collaboration with other departments, including Project Accounting and Project Controls, is crucial to success in this position. The Senior Accountant, Operations Accounting also has accountability for preparing journal entries, performing project-level financial analyses, preparing account reconciliations, and supporting internal and external audit requests.

- Education:
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related business field is required. An advanced degree and/or Certified Public Accountant, or Certified Management Accountant designation is preferred. - Experience:
A minimum of five years of full-time accounting work experience is required. Must possess advanced Microsoft Excel skills with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organization.
