Staff Accountant

Great opportunity for a Staff Accountant looking to gain broad accounting exposure and grow with an expanding organization!

What they're looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 2+ years of full-cycle accounting experience
• Strong GL, journal entry and account reconciliation experience
• Month-end and year-end close experience
• Financial statement preparation
• Experience with cost accounting, project accounting and/or percentage-of-completion revenue recognition
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis exposure
• Strong Excel skills – Pivot Tables, lookups and formulas
• Experience with Quick Books, SAP, Net Suite, Oracle or similar ERP
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls

The role will include:

• GL accounting, accruals, deferrals and reconciliations
• Month-end/year-end close
• Financial reporting
• Fixed assets and depreciation
• Cost/project accounting
• Bank reconciliations and treasury support
• AP/AR oversight and support
• Audit and tax support
• Intercompany and multi-currency accounting
• Creating and documenting accounting procedures/SOPs
• Process improvement and accounting automation

Big pluses:

• CPA or working toward CPA
• Manufacturing, capital equipment or project-based industry experience
• International accounting exposure
