Senior Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will excel in managing financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and supporting key accounting functions. This role requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills and a commitment to maintaining compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the month-end closing process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts, ensuring all entries are accurate and complete.
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries while ensuring compliance with established accounting practices.
• Conduct account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform bank reconciliations to ensure alignment between bank statements and internal records.
• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports, providing insights into the organization's financial health.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Utilize Yardi software to manage and streamline accounting processes efficiently.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices within the accounting function.
