Procurement Accounting Specialist

Aerodyne Industries Careers seeks a Procurement Accounting Specialist to support NASA and government engineering programs from our Merritt Island, FL headquarters. In this role, you will manage procurement accounting activities, including purchase orders, invoices, vendor payments, and project cost tracking for complex technical and IT contracts. You will support month-end close, reconciliations, and reporting, ensuring compliance with FAR/DFARS and internal controls.

Working closely with procurement, finance, and project teams, you'll provide clear cost visibility and audit-ready documentation in a mission-driven, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement accounting for engineering and technical service contracts
• Process purchase orders, invoices, and vendor payments in compliance with contract terms
• Reconcile project costs and maintain accurate cost tracking for NASA programs
• Support month-end close, accruals, and financial reporting for government contracts
• Coordinate with procurement, finance, and project managers on funding and budgets
• Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and internal controls
• Prepare audit-ready documentation and support internal/external reviews
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards and cost reports for leadership
