Controller, Accounting, Financial Reporting

What You ll Do

• Lead accounting activities supporting a manufacturing operation
• Oversee the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting
• Partner closely with the VP of Finance and operational leadership
• Manage and develop a Cost Accountant
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Analyze financial results and provide meaningful insights to leadership
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities
• Assist with cost accounting and manufacturing-related financial analysis
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies and GAAP
• Partner with plant and corporate teams to improve financial processes and reporting
• Travel occasionally to company manufacturing plants

• 5+ years of accounting experience
• SAP experience is required – candidates must have recent, hands-on SAP experience
• Manufacturing accounting experience
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting
• Ability to analyze financial information and identify issues or opportunities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a smaller, entrepreneurial environment
• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
