Position Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated Not-for-Profit Audit Manager to join our team. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong background in auditing not-for-profit organizations who thrives in a leadership position. The Audit Manager will oversee engagements, mentor staff, and ensure the highest level of service for our not-for-profit clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage audits for not-for-profit organizations, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee and review audit engagements, ensuring quality and efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships by providing expert financial insights.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff, providing guidance and training.
- Stay current on industry trends, tax laws, and regulatory changes affecting not-for-profit organizations.
- Collaborate with firm leadership to enhance audit processes and client service strategies.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting. 4+ years of recent public accounting experience, with a focus on not-for-profit auditing.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and Uniform Guidance for not-for-profit entities.
- Excellent leadership, project management, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Experience with audit software and financial reporting tools preferred.
