- The Advisor, Capital Assets is a senior accounting professional responsible for capital project accounting, fixed asset accounting, month-end close, financial reporting, audit support, and process improvements.
- The role involves managing capital expenditures, journal entries, reconciliations, CWIP, cost transfers, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
- The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting experience, expertise in capital or fixed asset accounting, strong knowledge of SAP/Oracle, advanced Excel, and month-end close processes, and experience with SOX, audits, and financial reporting.
- Utility industry experience, CPA, and knowledge of CWIP, depreciation, capitalization, and asset lifecycle accounting are preferred.
