We are seeking a highly motivated Corporate Analyst to support financial reporting, accounting operations, investment fund administration, and strategic business initiatives. This role offers broad exposure across corporate finance, accounting, fund operations, executive reporting, and business analysis. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of accounting or finance experience, strong analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

This position is well-suited for candidates with experience in corporate accounting, public accounting, fund accounting, financial operations, private equity, investment management, financial services, or energy-related organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly close activities across multiple entities.
  • Assist with day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting processes.
  • Review profit and loss statements and balance sheets, identifying variances and trends.
  • Prepare internal financial reports to support management decision-making.
  • Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
  • Develop financial models and analytical reports to support strategic initiatives.

Operations & Process Improvement

  • Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management functions.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, controls, and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and third-party service providers.
  • Assist with maintaining strong internal controls and compliance procedures.
  • Monitor fund cash activity, including capital calls and investor distributions.
  • Review capital statements and fund reporting packages prepared by administrators.
  • Assist with NAV calculations and investor reporting activities.
  • Support due diligence requests and performance reporting.
  • Prepare investor communication materials, presentations, and reporting packages.

Strategic & Executive Support

  • Develop presentations and reporting materials for executive leadership and advisory committees.
  • Assist with new investment initiatives, research projects, and product launches.
  • Support trade activity administration and maintain transaction records.
  • Provide analytical support for special projects and strategic business initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in Corporate Accounting, Fund Accounting, Financial Operations, Public Accounting, or Audit.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, reconciliations, and accounting processes.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Experience supporting financial services firms, investment funds, private equity organizations, or energy companies is highly preferred.
