Senior Accountant

I’m currently partnering with a global organization in the O&G space, that operates across the full energy value chain, on a Senior Accountant hire for their Houston office.

• Support month/quarter/year-end close, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial schedules.
• Analyze financial results and provide insight into variances and business performance.
• Assist with consolidated reporting and financial statement preparation.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen accounting processes and internal controls.
• Support audit activities and ensure compliance with corporate policies and reporting requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA is a plus)
• 4+ years of accounting experience in a corporate, public accounting, and/or shared services environment. Multi-entity, with global footprints (ideal)
• Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
• Proficiency with Excel and experience using ERP systems (SAP, a plus)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
