Senior Fund Accountant

We are seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join a growing accounting team. This role is ideal for a CPA with a strong foundation in public accounting who is looking to expand their experience within fund accounting and take on increasing responsibility.

Responsibilities

+ Manage day-to-day accounting activities for assigned funds and related entities

+ Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/quarter-end close

+ Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with GAAP

+ Maintain fund-level general ledgers and ensure accuracy of financial reporting

+ Assist with investor reporting, capital activity, and fund-related transactions

+ Support annual audits and coordinate with external auditors

+ Research and address technical accounting matters as needed

+ Analyze financial results and investigate account variances

+ Maintain supporting documentation and strengthen accounting processes and internal controls

+ Work closely with leadership and other departments on accounting and reporting initiatives

Requirements

Requirements:

+ 3+ years of accounting experience

+ Active CPA required

+ Big Four public accounting experience or a combination of public accounting and industry experience

+ Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting

+ Strong Excel and analytical skills

+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

+

Experience with investment funds, private equity, alternative investments, or similar structures preferred

+ Net Suite experience preferred
