Accounts Payable Specialist

HIRING IMMEDIATELY: ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST IN HOUSTON, TX

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Houston, Texas. This individual will support the Accounting Department by managing accounts payable activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring invoices and payments are processed efficiently. The ideal candidate has previous accounts payable experience, strong attention to detail, and excellent organizational and follow-up skills.

• $28.00/hour
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm
• Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
• Located in Houston, Texas

• Process and maintain accounts payable records and transactions
• Review invoices and documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Enter and update financial information using accounting systems
• Assist with invoice follow-up, payment processing, and resolving discrepancies
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records
• Communicate with internal teams and vendors regarding accounts payable matters
• Utilize Microsoft Office, especially Excel, to manage and track financial information
• Support the Accounting Department with additional duties as assigned

• Minimum 2 years of accounts payable experience
• Experience with Great Plains (GP) preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Typing speed of 30+ words per minute
• Associate degree or higher preferred
• Ability to work in an office environment and occasionally on job sites
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Must be willing to use required PPE when working on job sites
