Senior Fund Accountant
We are seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join a growing accounting team. This role is ideal for a CPA with a strong foundation in public accounting who is looking to expand their experience within fund accounting and take on increasing responsibility.
Responsibilities- Manage day-to-day accounting activities for assigned funds and related entities
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end/quarter-end close
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with GAAP
- Maintain fund-level general ledgers and ensure accuracy of financial reporting
- Assist with investor reporting, capital activity, and fund-related transactions
- Support annual audits and coordinate with external auditors
- Research and address technical accounting matters as needed
- Analyze financial results and investigate account variances
- Maintain supporting documentation and strengthen accounting processes and internal controls
- Work closely with leadership and other departments on accounting and reporting initiatives
