Staff Accountant Opportunity
A growing multi-location organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to support cash accounting operations, banking activities, and financial controls. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working with high transaction volumes, cash management, and process improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts
- Analyze cash activity and investigate reconciling items
- Review, audit, and track check disbursements to ensure accuracy and policy compliance
- Support cash management reporting and liquidity monitoring
- Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
- Partner with operations and accounting teams across multiple locations to resolve discrepancies
- Help strengthen internal controls and improve cash-related processes
- Support ad hoc reporting and special projects for finance leadership
