The Accounting Manager will oversee the whole accounting function, including preparing and/or reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and the internal management reporting package, and provide guidance on any technical transactions that occur. The Accounting Manager should possess leadership skills and enjoy mentoring and developing staff members. Who you are:
- Bachelors in Accounting
- CPA highly preferred
- 4+ years' audit experience or 5+ years audit/industry experience
- Experience working with privately held oil & gas companies
- Management experience preferred
- Oversee the month-end close process, including preparing/reviewing journal entries, reconciliations and preparing the internal management reporting package.
- Research, prepare memorandums and advise leadership on technical accounting guidance.
- Annual budget preparation
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP and company policies.

Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location. The expected range for this role is $125,000 to $150,000 per year plus bonus. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
