Senior Fund Accountant

Harmer has been engaged by our private investment management client to find a Senior Fund Accountant. • Coordinate with third-party fund administrators on capital calls, distributions, quarterly reporting, and other fund-related schedules
• Prepare and review quarterly fund schedules and supporting analyses
• Assist with investor requests and recurring reporting requirements
• Support the annual audit process, including coordination of supporting documentation
• Monitor treasury activities, payments, and capital activity
• Support accounting and financial reporting activities for the management organization
  
  Partner across teams on ad hoc analysis, process improvements, and strategic project

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1-4 years of professional experience
• CPA or active progress toward CPA preferred
• Experience with private equity, private credit, investment management, or other alternative investments preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to take ownership and work both independently and collaboratively
