TBG I The Bachrach Group is partnered with one of the leading global land and marine oilfield services companies on their search for an ACCOUNTING ADMINISTRATOR
. This role supports with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Purchase Card (P-Card) reconciliation, cash transactions, vendor and customer account maintenance, as well as month-end accounting activities. Additionally, the Accounting Administrator will work closely with Purchasing, Operations, the finance team, and other departments to ensure transactions are accurately recorded and processed.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable working with high volumes of financial data and multiple accounting systems. Strong Excel skills are essential, as the position will routinely analyze transaction data, perform reconciliations, research discrepancies, and prepare supporting schedules and reports.
In addition to accounting responsibilities, this role provides general administrative support to the Finance organization and, as needed, assists with office coordination and other cross-functional business activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES and QUALIFICATIONS—- Process, code, and enter vendor invoices accurately and timely, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
- Support weekly check runs, ACH payments, wire transfers, and other payment activities.
- Maintain accurate vendor records, including tax forms, banking information, insurance certificates, and supporting documentation.
- Respond to vendor, customer, and employee inquiries and research and resolve payment, billing, and account discrepancies.
- Reconcile company P-Cards and credit card transactions, including reviewing coding, receipts, approvals, and supporting documentation.
- Communicate with branch and field personnel to obtain missing documentation and resolve outstanding accounting issues.
- Record and reconcile customer payments, deposits, ACH transactions, wire transfers, and other cash receipts.
- Assist with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and customer account reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain Excel reports, reconciliation schedules, and supporting documentation using Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, formulas, filters, and other data analysis tools.
- Research transactions, purchase orders, suppliers, invoices, and payment information using ERP and procurement systems such as P21 and Coupa.
- Assist with monthly and year-end close activities, including bank reconciliations, account reconciliations, journal entry support, and financial reporting.
- Analyze high volumes of financial data to identify discrepancies, unusual activity, and items requiring follow-up.
- Track outstanding items and ensure discrepancies and reconciliation issues are resolved within established deadlines.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical accounting records in accordance with company policies and record retention requirements.
- Support internal and external audit requests and maintain documentation necessary to support company accounting controls.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial, employee, vendor, and customer information.
- Provide general administrative and accounting support to the Finance & Accounting team and other departments as needed.
- Assist with special projects, process improvements, and other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree or coursework in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bookkeeping, reconciliation, or related administrative/accounting support.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills are required, including:
Sorting and filtering large datasets
Basic to intermediate formulas
Data validation and analysis
Reconciliation of high-volume transactions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to analyze transactions, research discrepancies, and identify root causes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Pay Rate: $60,000 - $65,000 base DOE + potential bonus
