An employer in the Houston, TX area is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to join their team. This team is responsible for the end-to-end payroll process for the enterprise organization. On a daily basis, this individual will ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll operations across multiple states. This will include preparation, entry, and auditing of records, processing while adhering to Federal, State, Local, and company policies and guidelines.
It is important that this individual has a team-first mentality and willingness to work closely with various groups in the organization while providing excellent customer service.
- 3-5 Years experience in a Payroll Coordinator role
- Experience supporting an enterprise organization over 10,000 employees (independently running payroll for employees)
- Experience coordinating and processing payroll for multi-state, union & non-union employees
- Strong experience working out of a payroll processing system such as UKG, ADP, Workday, Dayforce, etc.
- Associates degree in accounting, business or related field
- CPP certification or interest in pursuing
