We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our accounting team.

This is a broad, hands-on accounting position that touches many areas of the business, including month-end close, financial reporting, inventory, cash management, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and annual audit support.

What You'll Do Financial Reporting & Month-End Close Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.

Prepare journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.

Perform income statement and balance sheet variance analysis.

Assist with financial statements and management reporting.

Research and resolve accounting discrepancies.

Inventory Accounting Reconcile inventory balances among vendors, internal records, physical counts, and the general ledger.

Investigate and resolve inventory variances in partnership with Operations and vendors.

Coordinate physical inventory counts.

Support accurate inventory valuation and reporting.

Annual Audit Participate in the annual financial statement audit.

Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.

Respond to auditor requests and research accounting issues.

Coordinate with external auditors during physical inventory observations and testing.

Assist with audit adjustments and recommendations.

Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable & Cash Management Prepare and issue customer invoices and maintain accurate AR records.

Monitor aging and assist with collection of overdue balances.

Research and resolve billing discrepancies.

Review, code, and process vendor invoices.

Perform PO, receiving, and invoice matching.

Prepare weekly and occasional special payment runs.

Reconcile vendor statements.

Prepare bank reconciliations.

Record and document daily cash receipts and disbursements.

Support cash tracking and forecasting.

Process Improvement & Cross-Functional Support Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.

Assist with accounting system improvements and special projects.

Develop and maintain accounting procedures and work instructions.

Work closely with Operations and other departments to resolve accounting-related issues.

What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of progressive accounting experience.

Strong experience with month-end close, reconciliations, AR/AP, inventory accounting, and financial reporting.

Experience supporting annual financial statement audits.

Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.

Working knowledge of IFRS rules and procedures.

Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis.

Experience with an ERP system.

Familiarity with SQL or the ability and willingness to learn SQL.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both accounting and operational personnel.

Self-directed and dependable, with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.

Preferred Experience Manufacturing, distribution, oil & gas, or another inventory-intensive industry.

Multi-entity accounting experience.

Experience developing accounting procedures, SOPs, or work instructions.

Experience participating in ERP implementations or system improvements.
