Accounts Receivable Clerk
Our client in East Houston is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Clerk to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with strong full-cycle AR experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and taking initiative. Recent graduates with relevant internship or early-career experience will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities- Manage full-cycle accounts receivable processes
- Handle monthly billing
- Perform collections and follow up on outstanding invoices
- Process cash applications
- Work within an ERP system to maintain accurate records
- Utilize Excel for reporting, reconciliation, and tracking
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers regarding account activity
- Assist with process improvements and support system-related initiatives, including possible software implementations
- 3+ years of accounts receivable experience
- Experience with full-cycle AR
- Background in monthly billing, collections, and cash applications
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience working with an ERP system
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-starter mentality; someone who is a true go-getter
