The Cost Accountant will play a critical role in analyzing manufacturing and operational costs, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting financial reporting and budgeting processes. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and maintain standard costs for products, materials, labor, and overhead.
• Monitor inventory transactions and perform inventory reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyze monthly inventory and cost accounting journal entries.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including variance analysis and financial reporting.
• Investigate and explain material, labor, overhead, and production variances.
• Support physical inventory counts and cycle count programs.
• Review inventory reserves and assist with inventory valuation processes.
• Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and production teams to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc cost analysis reports for management.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and annual planning activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, GAAP, and internal controls.
• Support internal and external audit requests.
