The Document Control Administrator will work under the direction of the Document Control Supervisor (or their designee) to support the following project functions:

  • Maintain control of engineering and manufacturing documentation
  • Generate Bills of Material (BOMs)
  • Pull vendor documents from BOMs
  • Update vendor folders with revised documentation as needed
  • Receive documentation from Quality and prepare for upload
  • Scan and upload all QC documents into the company’s Document Management System
  • Build electronic data books for assigned projects
  • Print, assemble, and ship project quality manuals as needed
  • Manage the QC mailbox and file incoming documents to appropriate project folders
  • Process incoming and outgoing documentation
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Provide project support to PDCs as needed
  • Prepare and manage documentation for off-site storage
  • Perform various administrative tasks as required
  • Provide support to the receptionist as needed
  • Train new hires as required
  • Model and champion company core values
  • Adhere to and promote the company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies
Qualifications Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate degree (two-year) in business or a related field preferred
Experience
  • 2–4 years of document control support experience preferred
  • Exposure to the oil and gas industry preferred
  • Experience working with multiple document management systems preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments requiring strong organizational, technical, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
  • Demonstrated self-motivation and ethical behavior
  • Willingness to proactively collaborate, share information, and seek guidance through open dialogue
  • Positive attitude with a desire to learn and take on new challenges
