Contracting Specialist - Administrative Assistant
Job SummaryIndependence Marketing Group is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Contracting Specialist - Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be the main point of contact for our agents, ensuring a smooth and efficient contracting experience. You will handle communications, manage documentation, and provide support throughout the contracting process. Key Responsibilities- Customer Communication:
Manage inbound and outbound calls and emails from agents, providing clear and courteous assistance during the contracting process. - Documentation Management:
Organize and maintain both physical and electronic records, ensuring all paperwork is accurate and up-to-date. - Contracting Support:
Serve as a knowledgeable resource for agents on carrier contracting and certification requirements. - Agent Onboarding:
Guide new agents through the onboarding process, making it smooth and straightforward. - Problem Resolution:
Address agent inquiries and resolve issues promptly via phone, email, and online meetings. - Core Values Alignment:
Demonstrate our company's values in all interactions and decisions. - Adaptability:
Work both independently and collaboratively, adapting to new systems and processes as needed.
- Bilingual
Required:
Fluent in both English and Spanish to communicate effectively with our diverse agent base. - Customer Service
Experience:
1-2 years in customer service, account management, or a similar field is preferred but not mandatory. - Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and Adobe software, with a willingness to learn new technologies. - Attention to Detail:
Strong organizational skills and attention to accuracy. - Self-Starter and Team Player:
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively with colleagues. - Preferred Experience:
Experience with Medicare or insurance contracting is a plus.
