Position DescriptionThis is a new facility for the company. The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of office operations ensuring the office is well-organized with a smooth and efficient work environment. Key responsibilities include accounting, purchasing and marketing coordination. They manage administrative tasks, maintain records and provide support to employees and visitors. Depending upon experience, this position may also include inside sales support for quote development and coordinating communication with customers and co-workers.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Assist in the setup as we transition to SAP’s ERP system.
- Assist with accounting, purchasing, sales and HR modules.
- Manage schedules, handle correspondence and maintain office records.
- Serve as a key point of contact for employees, visitors and external vendors.
- Maintain accurate records of employee information, contracts and relevant documents.
- Support projects by organizing meetings, preparing reports and tracking progress.
- Assist in managing the office budget and tracking expenses.
- Identify and resolve office-related issues and concerns.
- Previous experience in the valve industry required.
Butterfly valve experience preferred. - Ability to work independently with excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
- Detailed and thorough with an energetic, can-do attitude.
- Driven and well-organized with a profound sense of accountability and dependability.
- Excellent communication with interpersonal and customer relations skills necessary.
- Core competencies include experience with SOS Inventory, Quickbooks, Microsoft Office Suite, ADP and others.
- High school diploma required. Some college is preferred.
- Experience in office administration.
- Desirable NW Houston location.
- Work hours are onsite M-F, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
