Responsibilities
  • Perform entry‑level administrative support work, following specific instructions and subject to frequent review by the immediate supervisor.
  • Answer the telephone, evaluate requests, answer questions, route messages, and/or serve as receptionist or front‑desk assistant.
  • Assist in maintaining confidential information and records.
  • Assist in performing inventory of materials, supplies, and equipment.
  • Assist in processing routine documents such as vouchers, personnel records, titles or registrations.
  • Assist with general warehousing duties such as stocking and issuing materials and supplies, maintaining records, and maintaining warehouse areas.
  • Disseminate information to the public.
  • Maintain files, records, and logs.
  • Maintain radio contact with field units and others.
  • Make copies and distribute as instructed.
  • Open, sort, and distribute mail.
  • Perform preliminary research on assignments and gather pertinent data.
  • Perform routine word‑processing duties and conduct quality checks of documents created.
  • Run errands as required.
  • Perform other job responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Must be a student in high school or other educational institution, or accepted into a college, university, or educational institution.
  • Must be at least 16 years of age, a student currently enrolled in high school or any institution of higher education (including a trade/vocational school).
  • Employees at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license may be assigned driving duties and may use power tools.

  • Subject to environmental conditions; protection from weather but not temperature changes.
  • Light work:
    Lift up to 20 lbs at a time and frequently lift or carry objects up to 10 lbs.

  • Repetitive Motion – substantial movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
