Job Description

This position helps provide and maintain facilities that offer Church members spaces for worship, teaching, learning, praying, covenant-making, and receiving sacred ordinances. Each Church facility built and/or maintained should
1) provide a spiritual setting for worship and
2) present an image of reverence and dignity in the community.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Facilities Manager to ensure timely maintenance of facilities using established maintenance, repair, and replacement processes and standards.
  • Provide administrative support to a Facilities Management workgroup.
  • Focus on customer support and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Prepare purchase requisitions, process invoices, prepare financial reports, track purchased materials and services, and support and work closely with the Area, Region, and FM group teams.
  • Maintain computer databases: purchase & work orders, communicate preventative maintenance schedules, and facility records.
  • Perform other office and administrative duties and travel as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Two years post‑high school education.
  • Three to five years of diverse clerical experience or equivalent demonstrating computer skills and experience including Windows, Microsoft Applications, and aptitude to learn other software applications.
  • Communication skills, including professional phone etiquette and effective business writing.
  • Basic business accounting skills, including understanding of invoices, purchase orders, contracts.
  • Organizational skills including filing, scheduling, time management and prioritization.
Required:

IFMA Training
  • Essentials of Facility Management.
