Be the first point of contact for Texas Injection Molding and greet people who visit the business. This position is responsible for managing front desk operations, handling incoming communications, supporting administrative functions, and ensuring a professional and welcoming environment within the manufacturing facility.
Job Responsibilities- Responsible for greeting and assisting visitors, customers, vendors, and contractors in a professional manner.
- Maintain visitor sign-in procedures and issue visitor badges.
- Ensure visitors comply with company safety and security requirements.
- Responsible for answering and directing phone calls.
- Respond to general inquiries and provide information as appropriate.
- Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, then directing and announcing them appropriately.
- Make sure all visitors sign in.
- Maintain inventory for office/cleaning supplies and coordinate replenishment as needed.
- Perform general clerical duties including filing, scanning, copying, and data entry.
- Assist with employee relations events.
- Support Human Resources with onboarding paperwork and employee communications.
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable.
- Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filling, copying, faxing, and scanning.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure visitors and contractors receive required safety information.
- Maintain confidentiality of company and employee information.
- Support compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- High School Diploma
- Some college education preferred but not mandatory
- Minimum of 1-2 years in a receptionist, administrative assistant or customer service role
Skills and Abilities
- A positive, professional attitude and appearance
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Good interpersonal skills both written and verbal
- Excellent organizational skills and multitasking abilities.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
- Basic data entry and recordkeeping skills.
- Experience with office equipment such as multi-line phone systems, copiers, and scanners.
- Ability to work independently and handle projects to completion
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
